In 2011 began what quickly became an adventure documentary spanning two continents as we followed guitarist and composer Peter Blanchette, who lives in Northampton, Massachusetts, and the guitar orchestra he created in his local community (The Happy Valley Guitar Orchestra). We’ve been working on this film in collaboration with Sundance Award-winning filmmaker Jesse Epstein and Emmy-nominated editor/producer Malcolm Pullinger. The film’s release date is pending due to our ongoing fundraising and post-production efforts. Here’s the fundraising video we made to raise the first $15,000 that helped us get the editing started, which was successfully funded in November 2011. There will surely be more updates to come.
