For Vinnie Rossi we had a multi-faceted project on our hands: full rebranding all the way down to the company name, highly technical subject matter, a niche market, and high-end product photography.
Video marketing doesn’t get much more complex and nuanced than that.
We had two primary challenges:
1) boil down the myriad, fascinating technical details of Vinnie’s hifi audio creations into a bite-sized 3-4 minute video.
2) speak the language of the target market, in this case audiophiles/hi-fi lovers.
In addition are the usual challenges: determining the length, number and focus of the videos to be created, bearing in mind the long term, “big picture” context. And of course, trying to maximize return on investment as well as achieving authentic branding true to his 10+ year career and vision.
This video was a real question of balance. There were so many important topics to tackle, like the ultracapacitor power supply, the LIO’s modularity, and a general learning curve since Vinnie’s rethought a number of industry concepts for this new wave of designs.
